Happy Fourth of July!

Hi all, sorry I've been so quiet lately. I've got some pictures to share though.

Mommy and Daddy and I have had a wonderful holiday weekend so far. I got to try some watermelon, and it was really good!

Two weeks ago was Daddy's birthday, I helped Mommy make him a cake. He loved it and ate it all up. Mom says that's why his pants are so tight.



Our project for the last two weeks has been to get the playroom all ready for when I can crawl and play. Mom and Dad want to make sure I have a fun safe area all to myself. So Daddy sold his pool table. When we were cleaning out the room we found my bassinet from when I was a little, little baby. Can you believe I used to sleep in here?


The play room is going to be really neat. Mom and Dad cleaned the carpets and painted the walls. They even bought a new sofa to put in there so they can lay down and relax while I play. I will post more pictures once the room is finished. I am about to crawl any minute now, Mom and Dad are waiting anxiously with the video camera!!

I got this Elmo chair from cousin Bella. It was her favorite but she gave it to me. It laughs and giggles when you sit on it.


Mom is anxiously waiting for the pictures the nice lady named Lezlie Andrew took of us. They should be available for your viewing pleasure soon, and as soon as they are we will post them to share. I hope everyone had a great 4th of July. I am almost 9 months old, I will post more then!!

The weekend in review.

What an exciting weekend it was. I took my first trip on an airplane to see Grandma and Grandpa in Amarillo. I had so much fun. I got to meet my great grandparents. Here is a cool picture of 4 generations of Howard's.


I also got to meet Foster who I have been reading so much about. He is two months older than me. He's a pretty cool dude, I hope we can go to Texas A&M together someday. Also, check out the neat teddy bear that Grandma and Grandpa gave me, his name is Woodsy.


All in all, it was a great weekend and I can't wait to go back!

Amarillo by Morning...Daddy hates that song.

Well, today has been a big day. I got to fly on an airplane for the first time...it was no big deal, so I decided to sleep the whole way to Amarillo.



Almost as soon as we got here, these huge storms built up and we were put under a tornado warning and the sirens started going off...so, just like you are supposed to do when the sirens go off, we went outside to see if we could see a tornado. I didn't see anything, but it was kind of windy and felt funny blowing through my fuzzy hair..check out the video and listen carefully for the sirens!

Stimulating the Economy.

Mommy said that since the economy is in a recession we should go out and do our patriotic duty by spending a bunch of money on toys. So we went to Wal Mart and Mom bought me this new car. Foster has one and we loved it so much I had to get one.

It's fun!!



I was playing with Daddy's shoe when he got home from work the other day and Mom kept saying, "Wade, can you believe your foot will be that big someday?" Dad's got big feet, they are almost as big as me!!

8 Months Old!

Today I am 8 months old!!

I haven't mastered crawling, at all. But I can sure slide backwards really well!!!

I really love broccoli. Mom and Dad gave me a piece the other night and I couldn't get enough of it. Can you believe it? I hope I get some teeth soon so I can start eating more things.




I also got to pet Shiner the other day. She is such a good doggy.
