Two years old!!

Wade turned two last week and Cary and I are so astounded at what a big boy he's become. He was very excited to blow out his two candles, and is still singing happy birthday and asking to blow out the candles this week.



He is also very excited about halloween, he will be a pirate this year. We made it out to the Houston Zoo today to for ZooBoo, and it was a blast. Wade especially enjoyed watching the deer chow down on a pumpkin. He got to pick out his own pumpkin and color it himself - we all had a blast.



Sorry I have been so bad about updating the blog. With the holidays coming, I hope to do a better job!

Cary got to go work at Kennedy Space Center last week. Unfortunately he had to come home before the launch, but he got to visit with Wade's friend Caden, such a little sweetie.

June and July 2009

Hello all, of course - we've been busy, thus the absence.

But we have news. First, poor Shiner girl had to have surgery. She had a hematoma on her ear, which we had to get fixed. She's ok now, but looked pretty sad afterwards. Here is Wader giving her a tentative pat on the butt.



And second, we are putting in a pool. We hope for construction to begin next week. As soon as we have pictures we will share progress of the pool build. It's been a hot summer here, as I am sure it's been everwhere. Stay cool - and God Bless.
