Memorial Day weekend.

I got to spend three whole days with Mommy and Daddy this weekend and we had so much fun together. We went to the pool twice, and I got to go to Galveston to see my cousin Juliana dance in her dance recital, she did wonderful! I really enjoyed watching all the girls dance and Mom said I was so well behaved she just couldn't believe it.

I also got to see my cousin Lauren again, and look...we can both sit up!!



On Saturday Mom and Dad took me to Toy's R Us and bought me a swing. Look how fun!!

Dad's new toy!

Dad bought a new toy this weekend. It's a trailer for me to ride in behind his bicycle. I really enjoy going for rides in my chariot!! And Mom and Dad really enjoy being able to cruise again.



I really love my doggies. I especially love the big, funny-looking, yellow one, Jimo. He's such a silly dog and I love to laugh at him. The doggies kind of keep their distance from me, but now and then they come over to sniff me or lick my feet. That really makes me laugh.

Mother's Day.

Today my cousin Lauren got Baptised. She looked beautiful in her couture dress designed by her Uncle Frank. I was very happy for her. Plus we got to play together again!





Also, I am an independent sitter now!! It's so neat to be able to sit all on my own. I can see the world from a whole new point of view. I am still a little bit wobbly but each time I sit I am getting more and more stable.

I got Mommy a beautiful Opal ring for Mother's day. Opal is my birthstone. Daddy helped me pick it out and pay for it. It's really pretty.

Mommy and Daddy sold my big red boat this weekend. But it's ok, now we have our garage back!

7 months old!

Wowee, it's my birthday again! I am seven months old today.

Mom and I have already started talking about my first birthday party!! My birthday falls on a Wednesday though, take the poll let us know when you think I should have my party.

My first swimming adventure.

Since I had a fever and I was already on antibiotics, Mom and Dad decided to take me to the neighborhood pool for my first swimming adventure.

At first, it was really cold and reminded me of the bath tub incident yesterday, but once I got used to it...I really loved swimming. It was like a HUGE bath...and there are lots of other kids there to watch. You can splash all you want too. I can't wait to go swimming again.

Urgent care, double ear Infection and a shot.

I woke up this morning with a fever, and Mom and Dad had gut feeling something was wrong so they took me to urgent care. It's a good thing too because I have a double ear infection. The nurse gave me a shot of antibiotics which made me really grumpy.

Later that afternoon my temperature shot up to 103.5 so Mommy and Daddy thought it would be a good idea to put me in my bath tub, but the water was cold!!! I thought that was a horrible idea and I hope they never do that to me again. Even though it was horrible, I did feel a little better afterwards and was able to drink my bottle.



Later, after I had taken some yummy berry flavored medicine (I've been taking a lot of medicine lately) I felt much, much better and was ready to play in my swing.



Mom and Dad hope I start to get better soon. They've been really, really worried about me. In case anyone is keeping track, this is the third time I've had infected ears...that's 5 ears, in only one month. :(
